Is there a link between Aluminum and Alzheimer’s? You decide

About seven years ago after going through a very stressful divorce and two major car accidents I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue/Chronic Pain. Physicians determined the result of this incurable condition was linked to the overwhelming amount of stress from these major life changes and contributing factors.

Through intense research regarding this condition and hours of reading I have made my own conclusions and that being the harmful chemicals in our environment, household items, health and beauty aids and the like.

What are the sources of aluminum that contribute to toxicity?

Aluminum is an ingredient in a wide-range of items that many of us use every day. Some of these products include processed foods, medications and even personal hygiene products. US Government Agencies Say Fluoride in Drinking Water Increases Toxicity of Aluminum – fluoride has been observed to have synergistic effects on the toxicity of aluminum.

  • The amount of information about aluminum and Alzheimer’s is sufficient to merit informing people of their intake of the metal so as to be able to make their own decision. (H. Uchida and M. Nagai 1997)

Aluminum — Abundant, Toxic – By Phyllis Staff, PhD

  • “Aluminum is one of the most abundant minerals found on earth . . . and one of the most toxic to humans. Aluminum damages nervous systems in both infants and adults. It is implicated in anemia, osteomalacia, glucose intolerance, memory deficits, and Alzheimer’s, Lou Gehrig’s (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), and Parkinson’s diseases. Scientists do not yet understand whether aluminum is a primary cause of Alzheimer’s or is accumulated in the brain as a result of a malfunction caused by the disease. They do know, however, that aluminum wreaks havoc on human nervous systems and should be avoided.”

What are the immediate symptoms of aluminum toxicity?

Symptoms of aluminum toxicity include memory loss, learning difficulty, loss of coordination, disorientation, mental confusion, colic, heartburn, flatulence, and headaches. (Life Extension Foundation 2006)

Aluminum and the environment (Geo-engineering)

For the past few years investigators and researchers have been searching for hard evidence on the elusive phenomena of chemtrail spraying or geo-engineering the weather.

  • In Policy Implications of Greenhouse Warming: Mitigation, Adaptation, and the Science Bases conclusion, the N.A.S. found that the most effective global warming mitigation turned out to be the spraying of reflective aerosol compounds into the atmosphere utilizing commercial, military and private aircraft. This preferred mitigation method is designed to create a global atmospheric shield which would increase the planet’s albedo (reflectivity) using aerosol compounds of aluminum and barium oxides, and to introduce ozone generating chemicals into the atmosphere. It was approved by congress.(http://books.nap.edu/openbook.php?isbn=0309043867)

After I began researching chemicals in the atmosphere I started noticing the spraying happening in my own back yard in Alabama. I just happened to live about 20 miles from Ft. Rucker, AL., a major Army base.

Are these conspiracy theories or legitimate concerns that we must all come to terms with? You decide for yourself.

I offer you the following video (I know it’s rather long but very informative).

“What in the world are they spraying?”

I am not sure if we humans have the right answer about much of anything these days. One could probably spend a lifetime debating the pro’s and con’s on almost anything. Followed by what lessons were learned along the way and implemented? Such as alternative fuel for our cars. Nearly 40 years ago we got that big “wake up call” and swore we would never allow that to happen again. We got rid of steal cans, in large part got rid of glass bottles and now we are looking at replacing aluminum. I clearly do not have an answer to these tough issues. But one would think, with the right motivation and resources – we can do almost anything.
